I didn’t start in data, I started with a BCom IT degree and a curiosity about why businesses make the decisions they do. That curiosity led me into a 6-month internship at AI Variant, where I worked as a Business Analyst Intern and got hands-on experience turning messy, raw data into insights that actually matter. Using SQL, Excel, and Power BI, I learned that data alone doesn’t drive decisions, clarity does. Today, I work with tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, and R, but what really interests me is the thinking behind them: What story is the data telling? And more importantly, is anyone acting on it? I’m not from a traditional data background, which means I’ve built my skills by doing, learning fast, and figuring things out in real scenarios. Now, I’m looking for a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role where I can add value from day one, keep learning, and grow into someone who doesn’t just analyze data, but helps businesses make better decisions because of it.
