. I have a cumulative experience of more than 14 years of managing finance and accounts. Currently, I am working as Manager - Finance in Intercooperation Social Development India, a Section 8 Company in India with a turnover of INR 10 crores. The company works on climate change, local economic development and social development. I lead a team of four members, two of whom work in project locations and are managed remotely. My primary responsibilities entail leading the finance and accounts team and ensuring statutory financial compliances, finalising company balance sheets, facilitating audits, timely financial reporting to donors, overseeing accounts, salary and TDS deductions calculations and timely salary disbursement to staff. As part of the core team of the organisation, I provide inputs on strategic organisational issues, budget preparation for projects and consulting assignments, preparing annual budgets and projected income and expenditure statements for the company, etc. I also travel as per requirements to field locations for audit, physical and financial verification. I am familiar with reporting requirements of multilateral, bilateral and Government agencies as also INGOs.
