- ZUNO is a live RAG-based AI tutor (learnzuno.in) for Bihar Board Class 10 Hindi-medium students.
- Built and deployed solo.
- • Shipped the full product for 16 Science chapters: React, Node.js, LangChain, MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, with GitHub Actions auto-deploy to AWS EC2.
- • Fixed Hinglish retrieval from 0 to 5 correct chunks on 10/10 test queries by translating mixed Hindi-English questions to English inside the intent classifier before vector search.
- • Rebuilt the retrieval pipeline (embedding, Atlas vector search, custom reranker) as a separate Python/FastAPI service that matches the Node output on 22/22 golden queries, deployed behind a feature flag with Docker CI/CD to EC2.
- • Split each turn into 2 LLM calls: a 9-intent classifier that skips vector search on non-study turns, and an answer call restricted to retrieved content that returns "not in material" instead of hallucinating.
- • Built auth, sessions, refresh/access tokens, rate limiting, OTP and email flows on Node.js + Redis.
