• For my major project, I developed a Face Recognition Attendance System with Geofencing using Python, OpenCV, face_recognition, Geopy, SQLite, and Streamlit.
• The system automates attendance by verifying both facial identity and GPS location, ensuring entries are marked only when users are physically present in a predefined area.
• It features real-time processing, contactless operation, IST-based timestamps, and a user-friendly web interface.
• Tested successfully in a controlled setup, it offers a secure, scalable solution for modern workplaces and campuses.
• During my internship, I also built a Number Plate Recognition System that simulates a virtual toll gate.
• It uses OpenCV and Tesseract OCR to detect vehicle number plates from live video, log them with timestamps, and display results in real-time using Streamlit.
